Dance to the rhythm
Sandstorm by Darude plays in the background.
The lights, blue, red, green flicker above me.
Sweltering air circulating the room.
Steamy exhalation on the back of my neck,
As everyone is cemented together like plaster.
Excitement moves throughout the bodies of the dancing people.
Swaying of the crowd dancing to the rhythm of the beat.
Perspiration droplets roll down my face.
Tilting my head up to gasp for air,
Lifting my hands in the air, fluctuating my arms to the beat.
Smiles passed around the whole club.
Lights reflected off the sweat of the dancing carcasses.
Closer and closer till the beat drops everyone is in silence.
Bodies slow down and dance to the music in an effortless way.
The bass drops and everyone goes insane.
Heads start to oscillate, hands begin to fist pump.
