Conquest of the Darkness
Darkness had clothed the world
Your worst fears have unfurled
Darkness had invaded the skies
Ignoring your frantic, vulnerable cries
It feeds on your despairs
And on your hollow pain
It thirst for your tears
And drives you insane
‘Till your world has blacked out
In your eyes elapsed is the light
No color in your life; all candles wafted out
Steady cold whispers hold you tight
And they have become your world
Hence your nightmares confirmed
You are a part of it now
The pain and intense sorrow
The darkness is you; forever and now
Never again will the luminous spark alight
Hence the evils of life
And darkness has invaded
Blackness had conquered
Resembling All that you ever feared.
