Luna's Story
A battle of forces,
so great,
so grand.
Two monarchs who, together,
once united the land.
The sun and the moon,
each sisters in turn
Envy so strong
it could freeze,
it could burn.
The younger, alone,
thought no one had loved
The night she created,
her stars up above.
The eldest, the Sun,
pleaded and reasoned
But the Moon refused,
It was her final decision.
Her sister,
dear Luna,
was lost and alone.
Dark thoughts and ideas
corrupted her to the bone.
No more was Luna,
sweet princess of the night.
A nightmare appeared
and tried to rid us of light.
Black as pitch
and promising doom
Emerged from the shadows
came Nightmare moon.
The duo of sisters
The friendship ended and done
Clashed in a battle
of moon verses sun.
