I am my own murder
the waves of the tears come crashing
 she blows out
black smoke rings round the bruises in her eyes
 and she shouts
that her tearstained ghosts are coming
 to devour
every part of her soul till she crumbles away
 that power
should lay dormant, asleep with the diamonds and rocks
 but its awake
many year apart from its peaceful slumber
 its all at stake
and the monster roams the Earth in search
 of you
your own daemons linger on the surface
 of your truths
and your lies, your covered up scars
 she stops dead
the cuts too deep that time and she promises its all
 in her pretty head
but this mad land might not actually be real and
 the nightmare
is when she has her eyes wide open and
 she's aware.
