Beginning
I see you there,
She approaches,
I wave but you don’t see,
I speak but you laugh and continue to move.
Not fluidly like the characters you love,
Not gracefully like the creatures I hate,
But clumsily.
I stare in disbelieve,
You’re here,
You’re real and I smile because
I’m scared.
You walk towards me,
She’s in your stride and I long to
Be where she is,
Close to you,
To be so close I smell
The scent I’ve come to love.
Then you’re here
In front of me and I
Smile even though inside I’m screaming out
At the thought that you could be mine
And I want it so bad,
To conquer and explore the
Lands of your mind and body.
And I continue to smile
