Did You Forget?
Do you remember those old days
Of hot and sticky summer haze?
You used to push the swing so high
I thought my feet would touch the sky

But if the rain fell hard outside
We'd climb my attic steps and hide
Among the spider webs we'd play
Or sit and wait for sunny days

And when the winter winds would blow
Bearing on them drifts of snow
Side by side we'd stand and pass
The hours watching through frosted glass

 At tiny diamonds falling down
To rest upon the frozen ground
We were as close as two could be
Cuz I loved you and you loved me

But now I'm left with haunting thoughts
Of what has been and now is not
 Just because some other girl
Waltzed in and became your world
