cheater
He doesn’t know what makes her cry
But if he could he’d find out why.
It hurts him more and more each day:
He never can find what to say.
He wishes something that he did
Would help her through… whatever it is.
With all the charming art he draws,
He still will never know the cause
Is something that is close to home;
A pretty face she loves: his own.
‘Cause once upon a time she cried
When he had sent her from his side:
They both agreed they would forget
And neither one should ever regret,
But they both did and now again
They’re back together, happy, then
She just found out that what he’d done
Before was still far, far from done.
He doesn’t know she knows that he
Did once, and now IS, guaranteed.
He can’t be pleased with only one,
And now her hurt can’t be undone.
