Untitled
See that girl over there?
The one crying in the corner.
And that boy over there,
The one laughed at endlessly.
It’s all part of an endless cycle called high school.
And I’m stuck in the middle of it.
Being smart should not be a crime, but in this society, it causes total isolation.
Feel that cold breeze?
I do, they don’t.
I’m different and I know it; these people remind me of it every single day.
Always being alone brings the world into perspective.
Just think about it: all the prospects of the world.
Everyone’s always busy, everyone’s always hustling, but do they really have a destination?
Why is there all this commotion?
Why is that girl crying?
Why is that boy mocked?
Why should I feel like I do not belong?
Why do I always need to escape,
Through books or songwriting?
Why does life have to be so cruel?
Unfortunately, none of those books have the answer I am furiously searching for.
