My Lost Light
I was once a human
Now, I don’t even know what I am
Maybe it was all in the Lord’s plan
Losing my hope in this already shattered world
Is wrecking me apart with agony everyday
Painfully ripping my soul piece by piece slowly away
I was completely contended before
Now, I don’t have my beloved anymore
Must be the price I will eternally pay for
I had lost my everything
Such heartbreak too devastating
My only wish was for you to keep breathing
And nothing else would matter, nothing!
But my conscience knows better
It enjoys its everlasting torture
These whispering voices I just couldn't ignore
The guilt and regrets will be etched in my heart forevermore
No matter how much time passes
I will grieve for you, my lost light, regardless
Until my last aching breath
