your looking in all the wrong places
for answers you will never find
your asking all the wrong faces
who are just messing with your mind
they want you to see me as a beast
to keep me always alone
i feel like I'm being policed
for not having the right wardrobe
i always feel more comfortable in a sweater
where my wrists can hide in shame
i feel like I'm wearing the scarlet letter
and no one wants to know my name
