Taking your eyes off the Road

Your phone rings.
You see no one on the road.
You Look down to check the text.
But when you look back up you see a wreck.
You drive by slowly thinking that could have been me.
You took your eyes off the road for only a second and now there's a wreck.
You realize the text can wait.
You ask yourself which is more important the text or your fate????
