Humility
Hearts are cold
In the improper ways we hold
Too prideful too give up our pride
And too scared to live to die

And the factors seem to add up
To the fact that we are never enough
But it's dangerous to let down our guard
It's dangerous to be be vulnerable

 We never humble down
'Cause we are just too scared
To find a thing called humility
That's been etched into our heads as a bad thing

 And yet I find myself
 Finding nothing else
 To cure me
 Except this thing called humility

You say you're on your knees
But I can see, you're standing tall
You don't want to give up what you worked so hard to gain
Afraid you might lose your strength if you give your whole heart away

'Cause we all know it's dangerous to trust
We all know that our hearts in other hands could rust
But yet that one person promising you to never hurt you
You hold back all you can
Saying, I love you- But you keep it all
Just to show that you can stand tall
 On your own

 We never humble down
'Cause we are just too scared
To find a thing called humility
That's been etched into our head as a bad thing

 And yet I find myself
 Finding nothing else
 To cure me
 Except this thing called humility
