My love shall linger
It shall rise on cold nights
And wrap itself around you
It will guard you
Against all the evils of this world
My love shall be your comfort
It will ensure you're never alone
Perhaps when you call to me
The wind will whisper my words back to you
My name will be scrawled in the air
Between you and those who seek to harm
Even the most bitter pain
Will fade when I arise
There's a small price to pay
Yet even as you read this
You know it is already paid
Know that my love linger here
And my love shall not fade
