Making Shadows in Broad Daylight

We will slip away into the light,
You and me,
Together, we will reach such great heights.
We will hide away behind the sunshine,
Me and you,
It’ll all work out, together, just fine.
The night escapes us two.
Daylight is dawning.
We will find ourselves becoming anew.
We’ll shun our faces from the dark behind this magnificently glowing awning
