My Home
June
 The classrooms are locked
 The childrens laughter echoes
 Throughout the grounds
But there are no children in sight
 The wildflowers are in bloom
 Summer is near
But I don’t want it to be here
 I don’t want to leave
I don’t want to no longer be a student here
My classroom will no longer be mine
My classmates will no longer be mine
My teachers will no longer be mine
 Empty
 Lost
 A violin with no strings
 Music with no sound
This is the last time I will walk here
And be able to call it
 My Home
