An Unexpected Miracle
The perfect day
Blue sky, cotton- candy clouds, my sister
It was meant to be this way
We went into the hospital, towards the explosion at bay
My sister, no longer the baby, is happy, I’m proud of her.
The perfect day
“Awwww,” the only word she can say
To the baby completing our family
It was meant to be this way
My sister held him, and Oh! So perfect were they
But underneath the immense love, almost impossible to see, the mischief was brewing
The perfect day
Laugh and scoff those who may
Sibling ties will last much longer than they
It was meant to be this way
As I move away, may we all stay close, I pray
Let’s stay inseparable
The perfect day
It was meant to be this way
