i knew you
and once

we met under
the tree
and as your shadow
spilled
over me
i gazed up at the
stars
and once
upon a time
i was truly happy
and wished on
a dream
believing in
flowers and
rainbows and
you and
me
and once
in a fairy tale life
you were my knight
in sparkling armor
spun of silver
not gold
but it shone
just the
same
once upon a time
there was you
and there was
me
but i confused
once upon a time
with
the reality of
today
