The Fear of Night

As the pain swallows into the Night,
The melody of the stars sprinkle into fear.
The Night so black, yet so mellow,
Mellow like a person lost in love
Lost in Hope
Lost in Delusion
For all might be dazed with the hollowness of the dark,
Yet surprised from the warmth of the moon
And the stars that dream of a wish.
The dark wish of evil,
With the bright kindness of the brave,
Who travel in the nightmare of
The Night.
The Night that follows a deep sleeper around.
The night that loves a broken heart.
The night that has died,
In a soul.
A soul of Faith,
Compassion
And Trust
That’s stays away from the
Cold Night.
Colder than a Heart
With no love,
No Care
No inspiration
The warmth of a hug
A kiss
A soulful touch
Leaves the ghostly night
Alone.
Solitary and Cold.
While the Brave souls
Sleep in the dark wraths of
The Night

The author's comments:
People can be scared of the dark, but the ones who dare to dream in it are the true heroes. To the people who are frightened by the dark, like me, feel the coldness. There are many ways people interperate my poem. In some ways, they take it like when you dream in the dark and others take it litterally as the fear of night or darkness, in this case.

omg prachi, very good, very good. Well written, good metaphors. the only thing is, i do LOVE the night and not for the reasons listed in your poem, but for its beauty and paleness of colors and its elegance. Have you seen the bright moon sparkle on the midnight snow? Have sat out there, in the cold and dark, and found hope in the never ending sky and moon? In the constellations? Otherwise, AWESOME POEM!
