Fake Smile
  She sat in the back
  Of the room.
  Everyday.
  Scared to open up,
  Scared to show
  What's really going
  On.

  Hiding behind a
  Fake Smile.
  Scared to show
  She's Broken, that
  Her family is
  Broken.
  Hiding her
  Loneliness,
  Abandonment,
  And
  Scars.
  Behind a
  Fake Smile.
  Going home
  To a single
  Parent household.
  Just having one
  Parent around.
  Her dad always
  Busy with
  Work and bills.
  Scared to show
  Them she's
  Not okay. So
  She puts that
  Fake smile back on.
  Pushed down by
  Her mother.
  "You're not good
  Enough, you are worthless"
  She yells over the
  Phone.
  "Why can't you
  Be pretty? Why
  Can't you be
  Smart?" she screams
  Until her daughter
  Is in tears until
  She's had
  "ENOUGH." the
  Little girl screamed
  And hung up.
  Running to
  Get away from
  Her pain. She's
  Scared to show
  How BROKEN
  She is.
  How her whole
  World is
  Falling apart.
  How she feels
  Unloved,
  Alone,
  Abandoned,
  Worthless,
  She trys
  So
  HARD!
  To hide the
  Pain she's in
  With that
  Fake smile.
  She thinks nobody
  Notice but
  I do.
  I see right
  Through that
  Fake Smile she
  Puts on every
  Day.
  I want to
  Go up to her
  And say
  "You are
  beautiful and
  Smart. You don't
  Need to put that
  Fake smile
  On everyday.
  It's okay.
  To show your
  Broken.
  You are who
  You are and
  You shouldn't
  Change that for
  ANYBODY!
  We all have
  Scars.
  Thats what makes
  us unique.
  You are
  Unique.
  People push you
  Down, but you
  Have to get right
  Back up and show
  Them you are
  A fighter, you are
  beautifully and
  Perfectly imperfect.
  You show them that
  What they say
  Will not stop you
  But give you more
  Reasons to strive
  For sucess. So
  Put that fake
  Smile to rest.
  Because
  You are perfectly
  Imperfect."
  The boy who
  Lost
  Everything.
  The boy who
  Sat with that
  Girl in the back
  Of the room
  everyday.
