"The show's gotta go all over the place... or something...." - Finn Hudson

Why speak of hate,
when I do bleed for love?
Not hate, my love,
but Love doth bite my tongue,
this feeling is unreal,
this pain kills me,
but I have to deal with it,
because that is my job.

I give all,
and take none,
What is it like for you?
To just take,
and give nothing in return?
Does it feel good?
Or do you hurt in the end?

I lay there tonight,
in my dark silent room.
Feeling only pain and uncontrollable gloom.
The tears burn,
but they heal as well,
“Pain demands to be felt”
and it is being felt.

You who I don’t know,
I don’t know how to talk to you.
How to get you to understand my pain,
you say you do,
but I know you don’t,
You haven’t changed.

The only thing,
that makes me feel better,
are pictures of you lying on the floor dead,
never to come back and mess up my life.
