Simple Little Riddle
What is seamless by nature, fragmented by man?
A loss to one, and well spent to another?
What is prized, yet allowed to slip by,
And everywhere, though't seems in short supply?
What do we waste, inquire after, and try to stretch out;
What do we yield to, become part of, and it just continues on?
What can we not stop, try as we might?
What, to the world, is an ever-in-use lime?
The elusivist mistress, good Lady of Time.
