I watched him from the looking glass
I saw his goodbye as the stars washed in, wrapped round, and consumed his last breath
While The Universe tugged upon his shoulder, whispering an insanity
I heard the humming--the roar, as it filled his ears and swallowed his mind
It was pleadings, pleadings of the uncertainties
Deafening sobs of silence
And on his tearless face was written
His very own plea
A plea for cold bliss
And as the stars of the Milky Way bestowed upon him Death's black cloak
His eyes--two lights no longer lit, reflected oblivion
The Universe
The end and a blank beginning
And on his lips an unheard cry

You writing scheme could use a bit more oomph, but it's intriguing none the less. Well done

This is so awesome. I like how you tied in the universe and the dying man.
