Nunc aut numquam.

Alone,
Tempted by cigarette lips,
A heavy hand holding my waist.

I look into your eyes,
I drown,
I peer into their emptiness
Then whisper, “what about her?”
And fill myself with shame.

I push you away, yet still you hold onto me
Pulling me in closer to your body.
I bury my head in your smoke scented jacket.
You tell me to look at you again.
I look from your eyes to your mouth
And see a half-hearted smile lodged in your deviled face.
I begin to crave the sugar of your words,
The soft caramel of your tongue
Awaiting the taste, anticipating your sweetness—
Your badness.

I abide to this temptation,
I push your hand down to my hips,
Run my hands through your hair,
Press my cheek against yours,
Allowing our lips to meet, creating a passion
Which my conscience has labeled “forbidden”.

I let myself slip into your badness
I let myself slip into your honey
Your sweetness,
Your lies,
Your broken heart.
I melt into your hips
I tempt you, I tease you, I play with you—
I swallow all your badness.

And then I fall for you.
