To Away
Sometimes I want to fall to sleep in the middle of the day
Sometimes I laugh along with all the idle things they say
I hope that in the near future, I can run to away.
It’s not a place that can be found
It’s not a store that’s shopper-bound
We do not see clearly in the middle of the day
We tend to dim our lights real low and look the other way
I know we hate the different colors; we’d rather all be grey.
My lovely, it is black and white, don’t fret or else you’ll fray.
We dislike the fortunes given. But hate what we have made
Don’t halt and take our gifts or answers, just turn and…look away.
We’ll find you soon enough, limp you will all be, disvisioned..disillusioned..distant and polluted.
Just find Him, he has the map now just turn and be ok.
Just wake, it’s still midday.
Colonize the colorless and dream of to away.
