Inside of me
It is darkness that is filled
In all the cracks and crevices
It creeps in all the little places
Inside you will hear
The shouts
The shrieks, the painful cries
Of those who had died
Because of my sins
The sins that my soul brims with
The sins that I have to live with…
Inside it’s all in tatters
A place infamous
For the dreams it had ruined
And the hopes it had shattered

Inside it can be felt
The uncanny presence of evil around
Of the fear it generates
Forever dark and profound
Because of my sins

Inside one can feel
The atmosphere heavy with guilt
And feelings of self-hatred
Because of the name I’ve built
Because of my sins

And forever
My soul shall strive to amend
To correct the sins that I have done

So I have got this thing for the dark because of which I always tend to write my poems with a darker theme and this time my brain came up with the idea of writing on this beautiful title "Sins", a simple four lettered word but there are just so many emotions that it can arouse..
