No longer enough

When sorry is not enough tears roll down my eyes
So many people surround me but no one sees me cry
Lost in the darkness surrounded by eternal light
Screaming so loud
Yet not a sound is heard
I’m speaking my emotions
But you wont listen to my words
What’s the point of being honest?
If all you get is lies
What’s the point of feeling love?
When all you have is hate inside
Eyes stitched shut
Mouth taped closed
Trapped inside a cage
No wonder why when I flip
I give off so much rage
So listen close and don’t deny
That when you see me I do cry
