What The Blind Man Saw
What The Blind Man Saw
The Eyes Of The Old Man Sees Only Darkness
No Shapes, No Figures, Only Gray Matter
Longing To See Loving Faces Around Him
He Prays
"Let The Darkness Disappear.."
Night And Day Seem To Be Exactly The Same
Daylight Unable To Enter Thru The Window
Longs To See The Shape Of The Sun, The Moon
He Begs,
"Let The Light Shine Through..."
The Old Man Loved To Work In His Garden
He Can See No Roses Or Lilies Or Love In Bloom.
He Longs To See His Flowers Spring Forth
He Pleads,
"Let The colors Emerge Again..."
Colors Slowly Take Shape, Form New Faces
Figures Appear As He Sees heaven's Gates
Finally Home, He No More Longs For Sight
He Whispers,
"Thank You Lord.."
Looking Down Upon His Children, Grandchildren
Around And Around They Run; To Their Destiny
He Sees The Future Of Mankind For The First Time
He Prays,
"Let Them Be Great..."

Thank you for taking me to a place where I can plug in images, memories and faces in my past to this most amazing story.
Excellent use of strong adjectives and also outstanding coloring of language.
A great poem makes me think and feel strongly.
