The nights are cold and so are you,
Yet I cannot say we are through.
I need you to love me or leave me alone,
Yet I cannot stand to be on my own.
You are so bitter and I am weak;
I have a love you will not seek.
For me, you cannot find a place,
Yet I seek to wake to your embrace.
