Thoughts 7
I stay up late hearing the hours tick by
Just thinking about what it would be like
To have you hold me
I stare at the screen waiting for a message
With red raw eyes and cut knuckles
But your voice just seems so far away
So I wait for another day to miss you
And your non existent call
And that look that I thought you used to give me
From across the room
And I imagine myself in the city
Getting lost in streetlights
With all the other lonely hearts
Who know what it's like to need you
But to never have you here
