you kick me when im down
beat me to the ground
you punch me in the face
telling me how im a disgrace
you grab my hair, pulling my head up
telling me to shut up
as i gargle my own blood
you look me in the eyes
telling me how tonight, im going to die
that i should have never been born
i should have never been alive
you spit on my clothes
and knock me out on the cold paved road
i wake up, me on your shoulder
still out of it i mumble a faint word
im sorry
in an instant im hit with a sting
of the december river water
feeling like knives are surrounding my body
i think the words im sorry
my life plays back as the beginning of a sequel
i saw nothing there, nothing to defend
as i layed back
i erased the words im sorry from my mind
and replaced them with this is the end
