And So I Will Not Write
You don't like love poems
So I'm determined not to write.
But how else can I relieve the pain that
Cuts me like a knife?
You do not want my sadness,
So I share my smile instead.
The juxtaposition is great to the thoughts
Running through my head.
Your days have become un-busy,
Yet too busy to see me.
In your mind, you've turned me into something
I could never be.
You live a life with morals
That I could never learn;
Love me regardless until I'm me again, or leave
And don't return.
