Right from my hands,
You tore the strength which I was
Like the ocean does to a clam,
Washing away its pearl.
You flung me around from
The pedestal to the back burner,
Day upon day.
But the fault was always mine.
Your exigency for constant attention
Triggered each blow to my heart
And my indecisive pain only
Further isolated us
So slowly down the mountain we slid
Our paths with yet more between them
Than before
You've landed in the dirt,
Beside the water in which
I sail away from you

Favorite Quote:
Those who say that sunshine is happiness have never danced in the rain.

I really like the imagery and the constant theme of nature in it.

You're right, it is pretty similar. I loved it! I especially enjoyed, "You tore the strength in which I was, like the ocean does to a clam." Very creative!
