Every word feeds the hot fire,
No way to extinguish the flames.
Spitting out embers of hate
All stand in amusement.
Spreading, destroying,
Without an end
Can't escape.
No air.
Laugh


The author's comments:
My poetry class was assigned a poem where called a nonnet. A nonnet consists of 9 lines, with syllables according to the line number. In my poem, I have presented an extended metaphor of fire to ostracizing
