Intoxication Killed My Best Friend
I sit in this room wondering
How could I do something so wrong?
The thought keeps replaying
Like a messed up sad song
Was it supposed to happen this way?
Things happened so fast
Or was it 'cause we got drunk
And I was stupid and we crashed
We should have never got in that car
I know I'm the one to blame
I should have listened to you instead
But now all I can feel is guilt, pain, and shame.
