As i stand up tall
looking down at all
standing high
with my head in the sky
the chill of cold
just as the weather man told
forgetting everything left behind
afraid for what i might find
as I'm standing here
showing nothing but fear
save me from what I've become
cause you shine brighter than any sun

It's pretty cool.... like amanda727 said.... you aint gotta rhyme.... detail is good also!! But it's pretty... keep writing
I like this one. um... another thing to notice though? You talk about fear and other emotions....go into detail. If you don't rhyme necessarily, you'll be able to express and describe the pain you feel with more description. Try that and see how it works :) i like it though!
