Dawn
Lovely, new
Dawn's colors come
As a day of blue
Starts as flowers hum
In springtime's coming joy.
Pale, bright
Flowers range
As they take in light
And weather changes
To water thirsty flowers

Have you ever thought of writing haikus? I know they're very rigid but they too are often inspired by nature. Haikus also make people try to describe things in different ways than they normally would.
I like this poem. I love how you write: so simply and to the point, yet so beautifully. I wouldn't change a thing.

I'm glad that you like my simple, to-the-point poetry. ;D
