The Love of Shiny, Tiled Floors
My feet fly down those heavy lit aisles
My eyes gaze upon those mannequin smiles
The flurry of colors that erupts into sight
People scurry about like birds high in flight.
Clothes lie in waiting, soft on their racks
What a relief is the click and the clack
Of the jeans that finally zip up.

Down the aisles, down the aisles
 Find the perfect fit.
Down the aisles, down the aisles
So many more stores to hit.

A pretzel munched on amongst friends
Must this day really come to an end?
We've still a few more hours to go,
Keep it up, we can't go slow.
We titter, we talk, we gossip, we laugh
Look at that skirt, for only half.
So easy to see, too expensive to buy.
Yet, still pleasing to the eyes.

Down the aisles, down the aisles
 Find the perfect fit.
Down the aisles, down the aisles.
So many more stores to hit.
