what it's like to be me

wanna try
try and get what it's like to be me
step in my shoes
shoes of a lonely girl
an only girl
see what I see
imperfections in myself
unable to love me or anybody else
hear what I hear
voices saying to do wrong
I shouldn't have been with you all along
touch what I touch
feel the bumps of imperfection
hating my self was the only lesson
taste what I taste
blood in my mouth
from biting my tongue too much
try it out and see
what it's like to be me
