You have been given the light of life,
And you will have to choose,
The reason that you don't see the light,
Is that you don't want to,
Carrying our friendship on my back,
Heaving these bricks around,
With no help from you,
From what I have found,
Is that you just don't care,
Even though I'm your friend,
And love you,
It's just not fair,
You never think twice,
About what comes out your mouth,
Such harsh words,
That get me arouse,
With such anger and hate,
I just wish to punch you,
So hard in the face,
And still be your friend,
But that will never be the case,
I have been sailing on a dream boat,
And a lot of water I have tread,
With the thought of only betrayal,
And the worry,
about what's ahead,
With our friendship,
So frigid from the rocks,
Only time goes by,
With its ticks and tocks,
Counting down our friendship,
which might not be,
if you keep this up,
I will be forced to leave,
And walk out the door,
With my memories in a sack,
And I carry them away,
With your knife in my back.
