Religion is affecting policies,
Politicians are preaching fallacies.
Hate is spreading like a wildfire,
Love is being thrown upon the funeral pyre.
"Climate change does not exist,"
Says the businessman in politics.
"Refugees are not people,"
Says the preacher below the steeple.
All these hypocrites spreading hate,
When these issues shouldn't be up for debate.
Love will cure all wounds,
Hate will send us to our tombs.
