When the thunder rolls,
And the lightning strikes,
Fall her tears from above,
On this darkest of nights.

When the wind blows,
And the trees fall,
If you listen close,
You can hear her call.

When the sirens wail,
And the earth shakes,
You can assume,
She's sealed your fate.

When the darkness ends,
And the shadows fade,
A warm spring day,
She leaves in her wake.
