Amethyst Valley
My name doesn't roll off the tip of your tongue
Like the words I can't say
Dance on mine.
And I wanted you to turn around and love me,
But you let me leave alone,
So I had to leave the time we shared behind me.
Though you had me laughing like a child,
My eyes are now raw with stinging tears
I thought you would run to catch.
But you can't handle all that I am,
Because my mind is scattered with precious stones,
And you are too afraid to walk amongst them.
