I found them in a boisterous squabble,
When I got my share of playing cards,
The royal Queen was in a bicker,
With the Jack, the sorry guard.

"Alright, stop now!" The King did yell,
As he picked up a Club,
"I'll settle this if you cannot!
I will bump you to a nub!"

The cards were getting awfully Edgy,
They couldn't take much more!
Their corners were not sharp,
But sure their tempers were!

They bickered and they squabbled,
Oh! What a disgrace!
One of Spades bragged on how,
he thought he was an ace!

Ten of Hearts was acting like some big Deal,
And the Five just wasn't Straight,
On why the Seven disliked Nine,
The card which whom he Eight!

I cannot think...
I just can't play...
