Ive been waiting
for a chance
for a taking
of my heart
without breaking
as one part
we are skating
on thin ice
we are shaking
cold air haunts
but we make it
I know you
you're torn in two
make your move
I'll let you choose
but im begging
careful what you say
I dont think
I could take
being swept up
and then thrown away
thrown astray
not again, no way
no more scars
I know they heal
but its coming to the point
where I dont want to feel
so if you dont plan to be true
I'm better off never knowing you.
