And Then I Realized That People Get Old
Even though sometimes
It feels like time
Is standing still
The reality is
That time moves so fast
The years go by so quick
And in the blink of an eye
You're old
And then you die
Sometimes I wish
That I had more than just
The photographs to tell me
That you're not here
Something more
Than an old unrecognizable face
That I haven't seen since
Before you had gray hair
Since before my brother died
But I haven't talked to you in years
So all I've got
Is a photo that's not mine
To let me know
That soon it will be too late
To say goodbye
You're getting old
I'm getting old
How time flies
