The Court of Silver
A salad fork is a lord on his horse,
A spoon like a maiden,
A pickle fork their little boy.
A knife a guard at the castle's gate.
A serving spoon a queen,
And a meat fork her king.
A sugar spoon like a humble maiden
And a butter knife a chef.
A Sunday spoon like a nimble princess,
And a steak knife her prince.
All of these on one big table,
The table is their court.
