sinking sand

I am trapped in sinking sand
lusting to be on normal land
so sick of the struggle
to try and pull me out
cause it'll never work
I will be sinking unto the grave
never will I be saved
cause you stuck me in too far
too afraid of me
being free
too afraid of me getting hurt
yet still
people treat me like dirt
your method is unorthodox
yet
it still doesn't work
holding me off from the world
will just kill me so please pull me out
of this sinking sand
