Live Long Love Life

No older than the age of twenty-three,
Standing tall and lean,
With wavy hair, long and black,
Accompanied by a fluffy cat.
Her skin a natural caramel brown,
Her voice, a beautiful sound.
Purpose gleaming in her eyes;
Making heads turn whenever she walked by.
Around the age of ten, she was sent away to find a better life,
And at some point become a wife.
Lived those years feeling all alone,
Only to realize that a house is not a home.
Determined to find her family that was once left behind,
Hoping and praying they were still alive.
Although through the years, she made many friends,
She missed her family to no end.
Although a husband was not found,
She was certain he’d be in her original home town.

Finally home with her family,
Everyone cheery and happy,
Amazed at her return,
Everyone had some kind of concern.
It took a few days for everyone to fully catch up.
She was even reunited with her childhood friend who was now all grown up.
Both single and unmarried, and knowing their families got along,
Their family made it their mission to get the two to fall in love.
To not seem involved, for the two are very keen,
They had devised a flawless scheme.
Slightly aware of their spark,
They wanted to give the other their heart.
Though at first in denial,
They realized they couldn’t stand to be apart, even if just by a mile.
Finally confessing their love for eachother,
They felt their love growing stronger and stronger.
Their families were oh so happy,
For now they can have a wedding.
With every passing day, their love deepens;
Celebrating yearly, the day he became a husband
And she became a wife.
Forever happy; for the rest of their life.
