My Prologue
This is not my art of choice,
It's only where I find my voice.
'There's no such thing as destiny,'
Is probably what you'll hear from me.
But still I know not to discount
Random chance in some amount.
We all are born with traits uncertain,
Some still unknown at final curtain;
Pick and chose and use and use,
With all the different worldly views.
But we can only see our own
Among the syntax, mood, and tone.
For all that moves beneath the Sun
So much depends on what's undone.
