"My powers stretch over the horizon and work even when my eyes are closed"

Today I am thinking about birds

Envied as their

Little wings carry them beyond the

Light of

My horizon.

Every second of my life feels important

How can I make them all last

Outshining the past and leaving me scarred

With their beautiful impact.

They say that happiness is best achieved

One day at a time

Be fulfilled, they say. Happiness is more than just little fun moments

Running towards an ambiguous goal; I am terrified that I will not reach that potential.

Everyone, everything, I love too many.

Across oceans, some birds fly

Together, inseparable communities braving the unknown.

Hope is to the

East, fly into the rising sun.

I love as much as I live.

Nature calls

To my bones. It

Heralds me towards its dying beauty

Every leaf and spec of sand is something other worldly that lives quietly amongst us.

Phones call to my friends instead of trees.

Resonating through conversation, they break up the frequency of our interaction.

Emerald happiness...How are my peers complacent in their

Stagnation?

Excellence is more than grades,

Never mind society screaming for your academic perfection

Certainly, learn, but learn to grow. Don’t forget to

Experience your life.

Out of the past and into the

Future. I want to feel present. I want

My life to inhale happiness from my lungs to my soul

Opalescent shades of joyous shadows with

Undertones of rainbow colored emotions

Nurturing the feathers beneath my wings.

Take the jump, some people say, into the unknown.

As long as I stay here, how will I truly

Invigorate my motivation?

Now do you

See what matters to me?
